SCHF is the exclusive fundraising partner of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN), which includes Sydney's two children's hospitals (Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick and The Children's Hospital at Westmead), specialised care services (Bear Cottage and the Newborn and pediatric Emergency Transport Service [NETS]) and Kids Research.
The Audi Foundation is proud to partner with Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) to support the redevelopment of Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. At the heart of this partnership is the creation of the Audi Foundation Discovery Centre, a specially designed interactive space that will be a key feature of the hospital’s new healthcare and research building.
Located near the hospital’s main entrance, the Discovery Centre will provide a hands-on, child-friendly environment where young patients and their families can explore the fascinating worlds of health, science, and clinical care through playful, engaging activities. This welcoming space aims to offer a positive distraction from the challenges of medical treatment, creating a more uplifting hospital experience for children and their loved ones.
The new hospital building will also expand critical pediatric services, including a larger Emergency Department, a new medical short-stay unit, an advanced Children’s Intensive Care Unit, and Australia’s first combined cancer centre – the Minderoo Children's Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
The Audi Foundation is helping to make the Discovery Centre a reality. This initiative reflects our commitment to driving meaningful change in the community, ensuring that young patients and their families receive not only world-class medical care but also compassionate support during their journey. Together with SCHF, we are building a brighter future for children’s health.
